| V-Jory
von der Grone was the Young Dog Sieger in 1972 and continued
to appear in pwedigrees through his son Arras von der
Grueber Hoelle(who was also the sire of Lissi vom Hermannsgrund.
making her linebred 3-2 on Mutz).
Jonny von der Rheinhalle had a litter brother Jalk,
who was VA-rated in 1974 and 1975. But as it often happens,
Jalk did not produce anything note worthy, while Jonny
was born on Mutz’s legacy.
Jonny eas born on MArch 17, 1970 and connected the
Mutz line to the line of Vello zu den Sieben Faulen.
He was linebred 4-4 on both Hein vom Richterbach and
Alf vom Nordfelsen. Due to dental regulations (he had
a double P-1), he was unable to receive a VA-rating
and placed V-1 in Munich in 1973. Jonny is described
as large strong, good type, high withers and strong
back. His upper arm and croup were slightly steep. His
movement and temperament were outstanding. He generally
carried on the attributes of Mutz, but also produced
weak ears and paling pigment. Jonny von der Rheinhalle
is the most influental progeny of the Mutz-line and
produced some important sons and daughters: His daughter
lna vom Streithahn produced the foundation female for
the kennel “von der Steinhaegerquelle”,
V-Grit von der froehlichen Morgensonne. She is representated
in almost all the Steinhaegerquelle-dogs pedigree. V-Lump
vom Osterberger Land appears in some important Fourniemuehlenbach-dogs,
like VA-Hardy.
VA-Gauner vom Gruendel is found in VA-Enzo von der
Burg Aliso on his mother’s side through VA-Dax
vom Kopenkamp and V-Jan von den Paderquellen). V-Kuno
vom Weidtweg produced the N-litter “von der Wienerau”
(Nick, Narro, Natz etc.), born on May 28, 1976 by the
Canto von der Wienerau-daughter, Flora vom Koenigsbruch.
Nick went on to be a predominant producer i Germany,
although he died relatively young, as he was found poisoned
in his owner’s kennel (vom Hischel). It is through
Nick, that the Mutz-line is immortatalized in our GSD.
He is the sire of the famous P-litter “vom Wildsteiger
Land” (Palme, Perle), his daughter Jona is the
foundation line for the Kennel “vom Fiemereck”.
V-Cora von der Michaelswiese was bred to him 3 times
(K-, N-, and V-litter “von der Michaelswiese produced
VA-Fando vom Suedblick.
Another sone of Jonny is also immortalized in our pedigrees:
VA-Jupp von der Haller Farm. He produced VA-Puetz von
Arjakjo, who was sold into the U.S. after producing
son VA-Karo vom Asbacher Land and the famous V-Dax von
der Wienerau (dam: Flora vom Koenigsbruch).
VA Fando v Sudblick
From some VA groups you see years later no progeny
who can continue the sire line, only a few, but what
happens to the other VA,s? Some don’t brong a
stunning successor
And sometimes, people think a particular dog should
have been in the VA line-up for example he is under
the first 20 in last year youth/young class, so its
a good one, it is a breed contest the judge has to look
at the bloodline, will it fit with the topdogs lines,
does he have the good character? and a line where we
can expect something?
Now we have the domination of the Ursus line (line
bred 3-3 Odin !!! some do forget this.
The judge H Scheerer, in year 2005 at the Siegerschau
in Ulm He took a young dog in the VA Dux Quatro Flores
a Hill Farbenspiel son, in his comment he said he would
not wait for other good sons, (if they come).
To take one in the VA, the Hill line is important and
Dux is a nice and a good dog so he hopes the line will
go on. Also the last VA: Nando Gollerweiher(his father
has a line to Fando) if you look at him you can maybe
critique this or that, but overall a fantastic dog,
so too a good choice, so it should be, its also the
quality of the judge to SEE what dogs/line to take in
the VA line-up
In the year 1985 become Eike Kirschental Junghunsieger
sg 1 and Fando Sudblick sg 2, 2 nice types, judged by
J Kesekamp. Of course Eiko as a Uran son and owned by
M Goebl became VA in 1986. Fando in 1986 was V22! The
next year 1987 Fando went to Arnold Meier in Bremen
Eiko was still VA and Fando was V2, and for many he
was in 1987 better then the most Va,s and finally in
in 1988 and 1989, H Martin took him in the VA (eiko
was 3 years in front with mating the best females)
Why Fando v Sudblick?
A dog with a fantastic pigment and coat, and expression,
real 64 cm. good temperament, he was shown in Austria,
Belgium etc on the Nationals, allways good courage tests,
he had a very talented brother (other type) and sister
who were never shown, his fantastic bloodline, was (now)
so useful. He had a very good forehand and was very
correct in front, one could say he could have more hind
angulation, but he was excellent in his gating with
powerful hind thrust.
His father was Kim Michaelswiese (not so well known
as his brother Nick. Nick vd Wienerau --- with a fatherline
to the Mutz line!
His mopther Wiske v Sudblick was a very well pigmented
bitch with good bones and coat a straight back and with
normal angualations she was a V dog, she was a daughter
of Xaver Arminius, and the Dutch champion Gonny Twebtebloed
(who’s sister Granny was the mother of Putz Arjakjo
VA)
Fando braught good doge, and his progery had very light/strong
backs and a real good type. His best sons were VA Ajax
Haller Osing, Lasso Haus Bablion and Yugo Michaelwiese
all 3 with progery groups on the Siegerschau, and he
had some nice VA daughters like Wenke Farbenspiel and
Anusch Bierstadterhof.
As it seems, the Mutz-line is pretty much carried to
nowadays lines through V-Nick von der Wienerasu (sire
of VA-Palme and V-Palme grandsire of VA-Fando vorn Suedblick)
and V-Dax von der Wienerau.
Dax von der Wienerau is the site of V-Dixie V.Tannenmeise,
dam of Haesel and Helke. All breeders should be familiar
with these two girls. Haesel is the dam of VA-Odin V.
Tannenmeise (sire of VA-Zamb von der Wienerau and VA-jeck
vom Noricum). Heike, the 1983 Young Dog Siegerin, produced
the N-litter “v.Huize Hintdonk). By VA-Uran vom
Wildsteiger Land. The only out standing son is VA-Natz
vom Hasenborn, who was widely used but is mostly known
for his famous son, V-Cello von der Romerau.
1)The (Mutz-) line is manifested in todays lines. The
descendants of Palme vom Wildsteiger Land’s line
carries Mutz through Nick von der Wienerau. The same
goes for the motherline of VA-Odin v. Tannenmeise (Haesek-Dixie).
And then there is Cello von der Romerau. A male descentant
from his line being VA-Hill vom Farbenspeil, now represented
by females, not the males, Unfortunately, a lot of people
discount motherliness, which is a grave mistake.
2) The male representative of the Mutz-line is VA-Hill
vom Farbenspiel and his sons VA-Dux de Cuatro Flores
and V-Andrijuscha van Noort., V Hannibal steglerhof,
V hillson V athaba, the top breeders recognize this
important sire line and will keep on breeding tom these
lines, one of the best opportunities to preserve a bit
of Mutz through his important Gollerweigher, Nando would
be linebred on VA-Fando if linebreedings were counted
past the 5th generation (4-6). In addition he also carries
Mutz through Cello in his motherline. Nando produces
good character and movement. But one has to be careful
about his front which is not absolutely correct and
size. As he produces over size offspring.
It really saddens that VA-Fando is not represented
more often now. Every breeder should have goals in mind,
one being the preservation of the working character,
Using the descentants of the Mutz-line is great tool
to do so
Mutz is found in many of the working dogs today as
well.
Grando v schloss Veitenstein’s sire, Hero kleinen
Pfahl’s dam was V assie v Klenen Pfhal.. a littermate
to Anderl. Grando was the sire of 1990 BSP winner Brix
Kapfwald, Alice’s sire, and can be found in many
pedigrees today. Yes, as I had mentioned before, Mutz
is represented in workinlines as well through his decendants
of the A-litter “vom kleinen Pfahl”. Back
then, the division between workinglines and showlines
had not taken place yet. Hat mutz is in many workingdogs
pedigrees I almost logical, but there are not males
who have a direct paternal line to him, maybe a exception
on this is
The V male Lump v Osterbergerland, he was a important
Johnny son, he was he was not in his type at all (color),
he was as his litterbrother Lex almost black, their
courage tests were stunning ate the Siegerschau, Lump
was a big dog and became a good sire with a direct line
in the working scene, over Amigo Gronendamm, to Kim
Werseufer(all almost black) a good dog who is in many
working dogs pedigree today.
Johnny Reinhalle V1 -------------- Erl trappen berg
VA bennie Heideloh VA
Jupp Hallerfarm VA ----------- comments on him were
he gave deep hind angulation, in type and expression
better than his father, over years represented with
very good progeny groups.
Natz hasanborn VA 2 and 4 times VA H. Martin said he
would fit very good to Mutz blood cause his middle size.
He has a very good croups and was very good angualated,
as said he was middle size but was a real male.
His son…..
Cello vd Romerau the big son of the middle size VA
dog Natz Hazenborn Cello was a fantastic dog with a
very good movement and drive to run, he had 1 litter
sister Cindy sp V, he was SG 2 at the Sieger in 86 Hamburg,
in front of him Odin Tannenmeisem, Cellow was as said
a big dog, his mother Quana was from the famous Q she
was in type a bit different to Quina more the colour
from cello, character wise he is better bred then the
other lines, his father had a good character, many good
sons and daughters he sired, and the influence from
his mother was of course big, Atlas Bad Boll VA 2 was
one of his sons, and Hoss Hasanborn VA 3 (normal size)
and V1 Cim Ecknachtal who had bad luck that already
2 sons of Cello were in the VA, he was darker as his
2 half brothers. The big Enzo Romerau JHKL sg 1, Eros
Luisenstrasse, and the one who impressed the most off
all; panto Luisenstrasse, but….. The most saw
Cello not as a representative from his father to Mutz
breeders attribute his qualitys to the Q litter and
for the conformation they may be right, but for sure
his father the VA 2 gave his good part to his off spring
too, he was a very stable dog with very good head and
expression. Cello has over years very good progeny groupes,
and we can say for sure Cello vd Romerau was one of
the better sires in history. |
